Scout With Me is made by RigelRise OÜ, a company registered in Estonia (registry code 16873517, Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia). RigelRise OÜ is responsible for the personal data described here. Questions and requests: thiago@rigelrise.io. A person reads every message.

The short version

  • The Scout app runs on your computer. What it finds and writes on LinkedIn stays on your disk. We never receive it.
  • This site keeps what you type into it, what you buy and, only if you allow it, how you browse it.
  • We use Scout on LinkedIn ourselves. If we wrote to you, section 4 is about you.
  • We don't sell personal data.

1. The Scout app

The app keeps leads, conversations and settings in a database on your computer. It has no analytics and sends nothing to us. It talks to LinkedIn through your own account, and to the AI provider you choose (for example Claude Code, Anthropic, OpenAI or Google) with your own key or subscription. Those services handle that data under their own terms. The data of the people you prospect with Scout is yours to manage, and you are responsible for it.

2. This site

Early access and download links. If you ask for early access: your email and your answers to a few questions, to decide whether Scout fits what you do and whether there is a free spot. The answers decide this automatically; if the answer is no and you think it's wrong, write to us and a person will look at it. If you ask for a new download link: just your email. Legal basis: steps before a contract. Kept for 12 months after our last contact, unless you buy.

Purchase. Stripe collects your name, email, billing address, payment details and, if you add one, your tax ID. We receive the purchase record, never your card number. We use it to sell and deliver Scout, apply the refund rule, and meet accounting and tax rules. Legal basis: the contract and our legal obligations. Kept for 7 years, as Estonian accounting law requires.

Downloads. When you download, we record that it happened and for which platform, to deliver Scout and apply the refund rule. Kept as long as the purchase or request it belongs to.

Support. Your name, email and message reach our email inbox so we can answer you. Only the topic you pick goes to our analytics. We keep the conversation while it helps us support you; ask and we delete it.

Analytics, only with your consent. How you browse this site: pages viewed, clicks, browser and device type, through Google Analytics and PostHog (EU servers). Nothing from the Scout app. If you give us your email in a form on this site, your browsing is linked to it. Session recording is off. You can change your choice at any time with "cookie settings" in the site footer. Kept for the period set in each tool.

Hosting. Our host processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site.

3. Who else handles the data

Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Cloudflare (download files), Resend (email), Stripe (payments), PostHog (analytics) and Google (analytics). Some of them are based in the United States; those transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

4. People we contact on LinkedIn

We use Scout from our own LinkedIn account to find people who might want it. If we wrote to you:

  • What we keep: what's public on your profile (name, headline, role, company, public posts), the messages we exchanged, a short note on why we thought Scout might fit you, and whether you opened the page we made for you.
  • That page: some messages link to a private page showing what Scout thought before writing to you. Search engines don't index it, and you can remove it from the page itself.
  • Legal basis: our legitimate interest in offering a business tool to professionals. You can object at any time.
  • How long: 6 months after our last message if you don't reply. If you reply or buy, section 2 applies.
  • To stop it: reply "stop" on LinkedIn or write to thiago@rigelrise.io, and we delete what we have.

5. Sample runs for businesses

Sometimes we prepare a free sample run for a business: a short list of people on LinkedIn who might become its customers, each with the reason, on a private page that search engines don't index. For the people on that list we use only public profile information, on the same legal basis as section 4. The page is taken down after 90 days, or sooner if anyone asks. If you find yourself on one and want out, write to us.

6. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, get a copy, or withdraw consent. Write to thiago@rigelrise.io; we answer within one month. You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) or to the authority where you live.

7. Changes

When this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes too.
