Terms

Last updated

These terms are between you and RigelRise OÜ (registry code 16873517, Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia; thiago@rigelrise.io), which sells Scout With Me ("Scout").

1. What you buy

A license to use the Scout desktop app, for €199, paid once. No subscription. Any tax due is shown at checkout before you pay.

2. The license

  • Scout is for you, the person who bought it, on your own computers. Don't share, resell or redistribute the app or its installer.
  • Updates for 12 months after your purchase are included. After that, the version you have keeps working.
  • Scout runs on macOS (Apple Silicon) and Windows (x64). Check this before you buy.
  • You get the right to use Scout, not ownership of its code.

3. Refunds

  • Full refund within 14 days of purchase, as long as you haven't downloaded Scout. Write to thiago@rigelrise.io from the email you bought with.
  • Downloading ends the 14-day refund window. At checkout you ask for access right away and confirm you know this.
  • If Scout doesn't work on your computer and we can't fix it, you get your money back, even after downloading.
  • Nothing here limits the rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

4. LinkedIn and your account

Scout acts on LinkedIn from your own account, on your computer. LinkedIn's User Agreement restricts automated tools, and LinkedIn decides what happens to accounts on its platform. Scout has built-in limits, but we can't guarantee that LinkedIn won't restrict or close your account. You choose who to contact and what to send, and you are responsible for using Scout within LinkedIn's rules and the law where you work, including data protection and anti-spam rules.

5. AI providers

Scout uses the AI provider you choose: the Claude Code already on your computer, or an API key from Anthropic, OpenAI or Google. You need your own account with that provider, you pay it directly, and its terms apply to that use.

6. No promised results

Scout helps you find people and write to them. We don't promise replies, meetings or sales.

7. Liability

As far as the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid for Scout, and we are not liable for indirect losses, such as a restricted LinkedIn account, lost profits or lost data. Scout keeps its data on your computer, so back it up. This doesn't limit liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for intent or gross negligence.

8. Early access

If you got Scout free through early access, these terms apply except sections 1 and 3.

9. Law

These terms are governed by Estonian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live and can go to its courts.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version you accepted when you bought applies to your purchase.
